Ray Manzarek - Doors Shut On Manzarekkrieger Case

Rockers RAY MANZAREK and ROBBY KRIEGER have lost their attract to term of enlistment as the DOORS OF THE 21ST CENTURY.

The Doors founders hit the road under the moniker in 2001, but were forced to drop the name after former bandmate John Densmore and late singer Jim Morrison's the three estates won a court enjoinment in 2005.

Densmore insisted no Doors reunion should be able to use the band's name - because Morrison would not be a voice of the get together.

Manzarek and Krieger took the case to California's highest state court, but judges have in agreement to uphold the decisiveness by the Los Angeles Superior Court.

As a result, the Doors founders will have to keep on performing as Riders on The Storm.

Densmore says, "A five-year cloud has passed over my head."
